Gratitude SUPs
We're very thankful to have added Gratitude to our SUP line. Make no mistake, we love NuWave SUPs, who have been with us from the start and have been nothing but terrific to work with. That said, Gratitude brings a little more focus to flat water SUP, putting together very functional designs for fishing, SUP yoga and exploring. With NuWave being our choice for SUP surfing, Gratitude gives us another option for the Indian River Lagoon. Soon, we hope to have their rigid inflatable, which they promise will be the strongest, most useful inflatable out there.

We're putting more 'Sport' in "Surf & Sport" this weekend as we welcome FIIK Electric Skateboards and Infinity All Levels Ride
We've been enjoying a fun week of glassy, mellow longboard waves, but things are about to get a little more electric. That's right, our friends from FIIK Electric Skateboards (http://fiikelectricskateboards.com) are taking over our parking lot this Saturday, July 25 from 11 - 3 to demo their fleet of speed racers.
If you were in the crowd for our 2nd Anniversary Party back on Memorial Day, you'll know how much fun it is to ride one of these bad boys. If not, we suggest you come on down and give 'em a whirl. Of course, in true SIS&S style, there will be food and fun as well. Don't miss the FIIK!
From Florida Today - A Thumb's Up!
To sharks, for biting Brevard surfers and swimmers half as often in 2013 — and extending our streak of no human fatalities to 79 years. Florida led the nation and all other countries in unprovoked shark attacks with 23, the University of Florida reports. But bites in Brevard dropped to three last year from our average of six. “Statistically, shark attacks are extremely rare, especially considering the number of humans that enter the water each year,” said George Burgess, who maintains UF’s International Shark Attack File.
..to our friends from the icy and snowy North, - in the last few days, we've enjoyed visits from families who sought escape from the frigid siege of weather. (New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Michigan, to name a few.) Due to travel snares and extra snow days from work and school, folks have been able to extend their three day President's Day weekend. After suffering a period of a long, unruly and cold winter ourselves, we have to say the weather here has been quite spectacular over the last several days.
